Hallstead jewelers case study solution

Hallstead jewelers is a Harvard case study about a family owned business that sold watches, gems and artistic gifts. It was one of the only stores in the city to provide commissions based on sales. The case discusses about a situation in which the profits earned by the company starts to decline and the management decides to move to a different location to boost sales. Despite starting their business in the new location, the income statement for that fiscal year ends up showing a disappointing result.
